Turnberry Hotel is home to the Ailsa, one of the world’s great championship links golf courses, as well as a second championship course, a nine-hole course and the Colin Montgomerie Links Golf Academy. The Ailsa will once again play host to the Open Championship in 2009.
You’ll find famous names elsewhere in Scotland, too, at Gleneagles and Carnoustie. It’s worth trying some of the less well-known courses as well at Musselburgh and Pitlochry. You’ve got over 550 to choose from after all! Try the links on the left to narrow the fairway down a bit!
